Hi, I’m Dr. Jasmine

Grounded in identity. Guided by purpose. Built for community.

As a neurodivergent and bilingual Black woman from Upstate New York, I didn't just find my path — I built it. From everything I've lived, navigated, and overcome, one thing became clear: the communities that look like me deserve spaces that were actually made for them. That conviction is the foundation everything I do is built on.

I am the founder and clinical director of Welkin Wellness, a practice dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through life's more complicated chapters with care that is grounded, compassionate, and culturally responsive. Building Welkin wasn't just a professional decision. It was a personal one, rooted in a deep belief that healing should reflect the fullness of who you are.

That same belief led me to found Kin in Practice, and it may be the work I am most proud of. Kin in Practice is a curated, professional network built specifically for Black mental health clinicians. It exists to fill a gap that has gone unaddressed for far too long. It is a dedicated space where Black clinicians can exchange referrals, share resources, and support one another in building sustainable and thriving practices. In a field where Black professionals are often isolated, overlooked, or underestimated, Kin in Practice is about something bigger than networking. It is about community, infrastructure, and the radical idea that we deserve to be supported too.

My work and perspective have been featured in Alma’s inaugural In Practice newsletter, where I shared my journey to becoming a clinician, as well as in their blog post, 7 Postpartum Depression Symptoms You Might Miss. I have also been featured in VoyageBaltimore in Exploring Life & Business with Dr. Jasmine Williams, LCSW-C of Welkin Wellness.

At its core, my work is guided by academic rigor and lived wisdom. I focus on care that is meaningful, sustainable, and responsive to the realities of people’s lives. Whether I’m supporting clients, corporations, or fellow clinicians, my aim is the same: to build spaces where healing, connection, and community can be cultivated and sustained.
